- Great news from two of our most successful and active managers: Aura ( FC Mira) and jimman23 (FC Bruggenhof) married on the 18th of August 2007. It was on wonderful day, which was made even better by the appearance of a few players of their favourite team KVC Westerlo. As you can see, they both looked great and very happy.
- Rumours on the forum suggest that jimman23 asked Aura to marry him when she was on her computer setting up a SoccerProject game. The newsletter thinks this is the way things might have been going:

- Former manager Pelsen (Mindelo FC) was supposed to go to their wedding party. Things worked out differently. His wife went into labour and their first son, Thomas was born. Congratulations to Pelsen and his wife!
- Newsletter reporters Badbuffalo and Cheathunter (Raffin) lost their grandfather this week. He was 91 years old and died in the hospital. Badbuffalo: “Although he was very old, it comes as a shock to us. He was really strong and we have always thought he would have made a 100 for sure. All my life I have spent a lot of time with him. I’m very proud he was our grandfather.”
